Advantages of upgraded forged wheels:
1. Safety
The material strength of forged wheel rims is approximately 30% higher than that of alloy wheels — this is confirmed by data.
Forged wheels / Cast wheels
hardness: 125HB / 85HB
tensile strength: 12% / 7%
tensile strength: 370MPa / 250MPa
Forged wheels are custom-made to suit your vehicle’s design, ensuring an ideal match to the model’s specifications and eliminating the use of additional components such as spacers, adapters, or center bushings. This significantly reduces the risks associated with potential damage to these components.
2. Appearance
Forged wheels are up to 30% lighter than comparable cast wheels
The compact construction of forged wheels, which can withstand high loads, allows for more elegant and dynamic shapes. This provides a high degree of design freedom. The design can be developed to meet the customer’s preferences, allowing the wheels to complement the vehicle’s overall appearance and give it a distinctive look.
3. Handling
Upgrading forged wheels has allowed their width to increase without compromising handling or loading. As a result, acceleration and braking performance have noticeably improved, along with cornering. The driver experiences easier, faster acceleration, both from a standstill and while already moving. The vehicle feels noticeably lighter when entering and exiting corners.
